Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers is a native of Gastonia, North Carolina. Early in life, he developed a love of film scores, particularly those of John Williams and Bernard Herrmann.  Eventually, his musical tastes expanded to include classical of all eras. Matt’s first job at 16 was as an after school on-air host for a tiny AM station in his home town, and he enjoyed it enough that he studied Broadcast Management at Campbell University, graduating in 1999. After a stint in ministry and authoring two books (Losing God: Clinging to Faith Through Doubt and Depression and When Answers Aren’t Enough: Experiencing God as Good When Life Isn’t), Matt decided to make a career of classical hosting. When not behind the mic, Matt explores his love of history, art, travel, fine wine, and cheap beer. He is an advocate for the Oxford comma.
