Brooke Scholl

Washington State born cellist Brooke Scholl is a vivacious and tenacious musician who has dedicated her life to the art of performing and teaching classical music.

She holds degrees in Cello Performance from Central Washington University, Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where she studied with Andres Diaz and served as the newest member of the Julius Quartet, ensemble in residence at SMU, under the mentorship of Aaron Boyd and the Escher String Quartet.

From 2021-2024, Brooke had expanded her career to include booking classical soloists and chamber music ensembles with nearly a third of the country’s orchestras and performance series for Opus 3 Artists in New York City and EFP.

Presently, Brooke freelances with symphonies across the great state of Texas and continues to work on special projects in pursuit of making classical music more relevant than ever, including the Women in Classical Music Symposium hosted by the Dallas Symphony. In her free time, she enjoys making craft cocktails, riding her horse Ty, two-stepping, and walking her dogs Ana, Elsa, and Moxie!
