The @spectrumchambermusic Society began when a group of @ftworthsymphony musicians decided to get together and play chamber music for fun. Forty years later, they’re still doing that for North Texas audiences. Perhaps their most ambitious feat is yet to come when they play a chamber ensemble arrangement of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, conducted by FWSO Music Director Laureate Miguel Harth-Bedoya. The National Endowment for the Arts abruptly withdrew grants for cultural institutions nationwide on Friday evening.

Bishop Arts Theatre (@bishopartstheatre), Ballet North Texas (@balletnorthtexas), Deep Vellum (@deepvellum), Flamenco Fever, Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization (@maroon9communityenrichment) and Dallas Theater Center (@dallastheatercenter) are among those North Texas organizations affected.
